The Outside Circle is a traveling shit show of itinerant drifters, shiftless ne'er-do-wells, and one angelic songwriting schoolmarm sharing a love of and talent for music, art, imbibery, and good ol' fashioned cowboy debauchery. Celebrating the art form of the cowboy lifestyle in all of its refined effulgence and unrepentant roguery, we bring you some of the best new talent the world of real working cowboys has to offer.
In the shivering cold of winter we descend from all recesses of the west in our annual pilgrimage to defile the halls of the storied Star Hotel yet again for two rowdy nights of song, story, and licentious inequity. We sincerely hope you will join us in celebration of the contemporary cowboy in trappings, trade, and tunes. Orchestrated chaos at its finest; a genuine western experience. Come join us on the Outside.
Six years running, The Outside Circle continues to invite considerable, yet relatively unknown talents, all of whom are working cowboys or were raised on ranches and in cow camps throughout their youth. This special group of people do everything they do for the love of music and the ranching community, and we are so lucky to be involved with such a unique, humble, and talented group of artists. With a few veterans who return year after year, the body of The Outside Circle ebbs and flows, but has seemingly found a core group of artists that appear to embody all of the values the show was founded upon. There is a current group of musicians consistently involved, as well as silversmiths, hatmakers, saddlemakers, and bit and spurmakers.
